Here's How does the Electoral College work

Electoral College Overview: The Electoral College is a unique method for electing the President of the United States.

Popular Vote vs. Electoral Votes: It combines the popular vote with electoral votes from each state.

State Representation: Each state has a set number of electoral votes based on its congressional representation.

Winner-Takes-All: Most states use a winner-takes-all system, where the candidate with the majority of votes gets all the electoral votes for that state.

Total Electoral Votes: There are 538 total electoral votes, with 270 needed to win the presidency.

Faithless Electors: Some electors can vote against their state's popular choice, but it's rare.

Final Decision: The Electoral College's vote determines the next President of the United States.
