If you see dragon fruit at the market, you’re lucky! Its skin is bright magenta, and it looks like a mythical beast with green scale-like leaves. It’s easy to notice. This tropical fruit comes from the cactus family and is also called pitaya, pitahaya, or strawberry pear.
How to Cut Dragon Fruit
Even though the outside of this thing looks tough with its bumpy leaves, it’s actually easy to cut. The top layer is thin and smooth like a mango.
Step 1: Wash
First of All Wash dragon fruit with normal water and clean it and get a sharp knife.
Step 2: Cut Half
Now, Place the dragon fruit on the cutting board and cut it into two pieces very clearly. Place the knife on the top of the dragon fruit and start cutting to the down.
Step3: Remove Skin
There are two steps by which you can remove the skin of dragon fruit.
1) Through the scoop 2) Through pealing the skin
Firstly, use the large spoon to scoop the flesh of dragon fruit from the skin.
The second method is through pealing out. Peal Skin using both hand fingers and remove the skin from the flesh.
Step 4: Cut into smaller pieces
Now, cut the flesh into smaller pieces like slices.
