Today, we are going to study the use of ” I want you to “ which means you have a desire for them to do something.

Hindi: Aaj ham Use of ” I want you to ” ke bare me padhne wale hain jiska arth Hota hai “Mai chahata hun ki aap“. Iss structure ka prayog Kisi dusare ko work Karne ke Liye Apni ichchha jaahir karte hain.

SOUND: Mai chahata hun

STRUCTURE:  I want you to + verb

SOME EXAMPLES:

  1. I want you to work here.

Mai chahata hun ki aap yahan kam karen.

(ನೀವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ)

2. I want you to speak English.

Mai chahata hun ki aap English Bolen.

(ನೀವು ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.)

3. I want you to come here.

Mai chahata hun ki aap yahan aaye.

(ನೀವು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ)

4. I want you to go to Bangalore.

Mai chahata hun ki aap Benglore jaye.

(ನೀವು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.)

5. I want you to go outside.

Mai chahata hun ki aap baahar jaye.

(ನೀವು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ)

By using the word ‘Need‘ instead of ‘Want‘ we can express something that is required.

  1. I need you to work with me.

Mujhe aapki mere sath kaam karne ki jarurat hai.

(ನೀವು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವುದು ನನಗೆ ಬೇಕು.)

2. I need you to study harder in college.

Mujhe aapki kathin padhai karne ki aawasyakata hai.

(ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.)

3. I need you to meet my best friends.

Mujhe aapki mere achhe doston se milne ki jarurat hai.

(ನನ್ನ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರನ್ನು ನೀವು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು.)

4. I need you to run with me.

Mujhe aapki mere sath daudane ki jarurat hai.

(ನೀವು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಓಡಬೇಕು.)

5. I need you to bless him.

Mujhe aapki usse aashirwaad dene ki jarurat hai.

(ಅವನಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ನನಗೆ ಬೇಕು.)
